Not sure if I agree with the use of gory safety pictures, videos and DVDs but if all else has failed they may be worth a try. Important to pick your audience carefully and warn them before showing. I have seen them used very effectively and they have been used in Road Safety Campaigns to create good awareness of the realities of road accidents. The photo’s you will see on this site are extremely graphic images of industrial injuries. They contain photos of amputated limbs, chemical burns and other very bloody images. If you are even the least bit disturbed by blood or graphic photos of injured people do not view these photos. They also have a large range of “traditional” safety training videos.
