Blundstone’s research and development design centre in Hobart has released the new Armourtread range of boots, which will be featured at the WA Safety Show in August.

The wheat nubuck lace up ankle boot is said to be the lightest in its competitive set and incorporates a polyurethane/nitrile rubber sole that is heat resistant to 300 degrees Celsius.  Selected styles have penetration resistant insoles which are capable of resisting perforation by nails and other objects, even of a small diameter.

Blundstone’s R&D facility has also launched new shoes which deliver a heightened level of comfort and style in safety footwear designed specifically for women.

All Blundstone safety footwear offers maximum protection with the use of steel toe caps and the footwear carries a two-year manufacturer’s warranty.

A 100 per cent Australian-owned family company, Blundstone is celebrating its 140th year at the WA Safety Show, which will run from August 24 to 26 at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre.
