Oliver Footwear’s will have the new AT 55-246 150mm (6”) Lace Up Boot with Metatarsal guard and the AT 55-223 Elastic Sided Boot with Metatarsal guard at the WA Safety Show from August 24 to 26.

The PORON XRD® Metatarsal guard is not only comfortable, flexible and lightweight but frees the wearer of traditional rigid and bulky guards.  The high performance molecules create a unique protective shield never seen before that absorbs up to 90% of the most intense force – hit after hit.

A dual density nitrile rubber layer outsole combined with a polyurethane midsole ensures the foot is protected from shock absorption while maintaining a hard wearing, slip and abrasion resistant sole.  The sole offers resistance to temperatures of 300 degrees Celsius of surface contact, electrical hazard protection as well as resistance to mineral and organic oils and acids.

Oliver’s industry leading COMFORTcushion and NANOlite footbed offer constant impact absorption that reduces foot, leg and lower back fatigue while also massaging the sole to promote greater blood flow and enhance circulation.

The fully lined boot also comes with heavy Kevlar stitching at the heel and has uppers of water-resistant black full-grain leather.

For job sites where there is a risk of penetration from nails, fasteners, glass shards or similar obstacles, the AT 55-246 and 55-223 also has a Qflex Zero non metallic insole which protects against the risk of penetration from beneath the sole.

Further safety protection comes from the NATUREform Type 1 protective toe cap that, with its wider shape, allows greater foot comfort and avoids contact between the foot and the toecap.  There’s also a Tectuff bumper at the toe and heel, which protects against scuffing and traditional early failure at these points.

Topping off the features the Oliver AT 55-246 150mm Lace Up and AT 55-223 Elastic Sided Boots are fully compliant with the AS/NZS 2210.3 and the International EN ISO 20345 2004 product quality standards.

Oliver will invite WA Safety Show visitors to test the boots when it runs from August 24 to 26 at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre. For more information, visit www.wasafetyshow.com, email safetyvisitor@aec.net.au or phone Australian Exhibitions & Conferences on 03 9654 7773.
