Take 5 Australia December 8, 2011 at 3:48 PM

Take 5′s are widely used for risk management prior to starting tasks in minning and / or high risk area’s. Take 5′s offer companies peace of mind in risk management and litigations,by providing employees easy to use risk assessment tools.

As Safety and Medical Consultants, we are constantly looking for new and improved ways to make Take 5′s simple and effective.

In 2012 our production prices have been minimized to increase particaption in the Take 5 exercise itself.
We see this as a real opportunity to benefit stakeholders on a national scale.

Take 5′s will be offered in varity of styles introducing the new double sided & wire binded version.

Our publishing team is onstandby for Corporate Log’s and any additional specific requirements.

2012 will begin with a national push for OH&S harmonization, Take 5 Australia is proud to be part of this movement towards Safer Workplaces.

Thanks for this site guys, it gives me a very comprehensive toolkit. I have an OH&S/HR background from many years in the private and public sectors and have written many manuals, training programs and check lists myself over the years. I am now running a small Backpackers in Canberra that had zero documentation, so used your site to help me quickly and efficiently put together a handy manual for us.

Riskex, Mac computers run on a different platform which is unix based.
to install a program on a mac it must be a dmg extension, not a exe(windows platform)

Thankyou Jane,
The only way I can think of is to provide a link to its location. Being an .exe file, it can cause dramas on some email programs

I have downloaded the electronic risk score calculator and find it most useful. The matrix is more complete than the standard one used in Europe and allows for the calculation of more precise risk levels.

Congratulations and thank you for sharing it

Hi dis subbaro from india.

SteveMan August 5, 2011 at 7:18 PM

Riskex,

Thanks for your input, but upon further investigation the metadata states that it is a “Microsoft Windows application” and I’m afraid I do not run the duel program.

If I can suggest that maybe in future developers offer downloads, like the Risk Calculator, etc, availability on both platforms? Do you now where I might be able to obtain a Mac based version of both calculators?

Riskex August 5, 2011 at 6:39 PM

No-one has ever told us of a problem with Macs – it is an exe file so should work.

All other downloads are pdf, Word or Excel files and no probs reported except with very old versions of those programs???????

SteveMan August 5, 2011 at 2:48 PM

I tried to download the Risk Assessment calculator, but it won’t work or appears not too anyway, on an Mac. What are the system operating requirements for this, along with all your other downloads??

john paproth July 31, 2011 at 11:44 AM

Hi
I need to find a meeting AGENDA template suitable for an OHS committee, one that you would send out before a meeting. I have millions (well maybe some) of OHS minutes templates that record the minutes from the previous meeting but I have never seen a template for agenda items before, as normally agenda items are raised in a informal email. I hope someone can direct me to a site.

Nada Hodge July 31, 2011 at 8:23 AM

Hello, my name is Mike.
I reside in Greece and I am involved in the Quality Management in the metal industry where safety is of paramount importance. Surfing the Internet for loss prevention related sites, I stopped the search here.
It is safe to say that I did not expect to find a site so full of useful information.
Thank you.

Riskex July 27, 2011 at 2:13 PM

Thanks Mike – let us know if there is something specific you are looking for. Its probably in there somewhere :-) if not we will track it down and add it

Thanks Becca – I really appreciate your comments – there is a lot of work gone into finding and providing these resources and to have the approval of safety gurus like you makes it all worth it!
